During October we have been busy learning all about Autumn and Halloween.
We went exploring around the school grounds and found lots of Autumn treasures. We can spot the evergreen trees and the deciduous trees at the back of the school. We discovered the fruit trees as well and the greenhouse. It is lovely to go for a walk with our friends in nursery and explore. We saw lots of different coloured leaves along the way. Lots of leaves are falling down and we help outdoors to rake the leaves and keep nursery tidy.
We planted some flowers outside and we are busy watering the plants and looking after them. We helped to weed the gardens as well. Our nursery is looking lovely during Autumn.
In nursery we are having lots of fun in all of the different play areas. We are learning to share with our friends and to take turns. We are enjoying playing games together.
During Dinner Time we help to set the table and we serve dinners to our friends. It is such a treat to be the Dinner Helper. We can ask our friends what they would like to eat and we are enjoying lots of different foods. It is nice to have a lovely hot meal in nursery with our friends. On Fridays we go to the Canteen for our dinner!
We have been busy at the Art Table making lots of Autumn and Halloween pictures. We even have Autumn leaves hanging up in our nursery room and outdoors as well. We have learned lots of new songs and we can sing these with our friends. In the Quiet Room we enjoy doing puzzles, play games and take turns. We have been playing matching games and we have lots of fun.
On Friday 25th October we had a Halloween party. We dressed up, decorated pumpkin biscuits, sang songs and danced at the disco with our friends in the Assembly Hall. We even had some Halloween treats from our teachers.
Such a busy October in Nursery!
