Term 3 in P1!

We have had a great Term 3 in Primary 1. We have been working so hard to learn our keywords and write sentences and we have been busy exploring addition through practical activities. Through our 'Core Book Approach' we have been reading lots of books about 'Pirates' and had great fun making up pirate names. The weather has been just beautiful and we have loved getting outside for playtime and PE. 

As this was our first year in school, we were very much looking forward to 'Sports Day'. There was a great variety of races to take part in and we had great fun with our friends. The boys and girls waited very patiently on their school trip and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful day at the beach and had a beautiful picnic and play in Castlerock. It was just fantastic!

We hope everyone has a fantastic break and we look forward to seeing all of our friends in September.
