We have had a very busy term in P5HD! We are really enjoying our topic all about the Vikings and have been busy designing and making our own longboats. In Literacy we have enjoyed our Core Book - How to be a Viking by Cressida Cowell and have been writing diary entries and letters. We have also been working towards our first Accelerated Reading targets. Keep reading next term everyone - you are doing great! In Numeracy we have been learning about the four operations - addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and we are now starting to learn about fractions. We have also learnt about 2D and 3D shapes and are working on telling the time with both analogue and digital clocks. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everybody!
