Term 1
In P3/4CL, we had a busy first term!
We have been taking part in lots of Numeracy and Literacy activities as well as Art and Topic work based around “Never Eat Shredded Wheat”.
We really enjoyed “One Kind Word” week when we read the book “The Lion Inside” and did lots of fun activities. We learnt about rhyming words, adjectives, speech bubbles, characters and feelings. We enjoyed painting, making collages and exploring colour mixing.
We have been learning to use money and we enjoyed ‘going shopping’ with Miss Lockington. Some of us are hoping that Santa might have some “Shopping List” games in his sack!
We have written super recounts about our weekend news and are learning to write instructions.
We all try hard to keep the Golden Rules, and we look forward to Golden Time treats on a Friday such as pyjama parties, movies, art and craft, bikes and flickers, visiting Tommy's chip shop or buying sweets in Supervalu.
In December, we have been busy with Christmas art and practising for our Christmas Show. Miss Lockington and Rhonda were proud of us because we all took part and did so well!
