P3 JB have been very busy learning lots of new things. Our numeracy topics were Handling Data and 2D shape. We learned all about Venn and Carroll diagrams and can now make a tally chart. Two new shapes we have been looking at are Pentagons and Hexagons.
Our World Around Us topic was Celebrations. We found out lots of interesting facts about Christmas in different countries when Rebeca our Spanish tutor told us all about Spanish traditions and from Suzanna Armstrong who explained about how people in Slovakia celebrate Christmas. It was really interesting learning about all the differences.
The Christmas show meant that we had a lot of practising to do. Mrs Brudell said ‘Excellente!’ as we all said our words and sang our song perfectly .
