We have all been very busy in P3/4CL!
We completed our topic ‘Evacuees in World War 2’. We created information ebooks using the ipads as well as some amazing WW2 art. We ended the topic with an Evacuee themed day where we all dressed up.
Our new topic was ‘Here Comes the Sun’ and we enjoyed learning about sun safety, the properties of materials and nocturnal animals.
In Numeracy we have been exploring measuring and we have been using metre sticks, rulers, balance scales and measuring jugs in our practical activities. We loved measuring the sticks in the forest!
In Literacy we wrote amazing creative stories and read them to our little friends in other classes. We also enjoyed our Shared Book ‘The Secret Sky Garden’. We created some beautiful artwork and lovely mini gardens using forest materials.
We enjoyed racing on our Sports Day and our trip to W5. We also went to visit our friends in Cornfield Care Centre and sang lovely old ‘sunny’ songs to brighten their day!
