Forest School
Ballykelly Primary School is a proud NIFSA Accredited Forest School.
The school achieved Forest School status in the Summer of 2024. This award was in recognition of three staff members becoming Forest School Leaders [Mr Brown, Mrs Semple and Mrs Willis] as well as evidence from the entire staff team that regular Forest School Sessions have taken place i our dedicated Forest School Woodland Area.
During the academic year 24-25 weekly Forest School sessions continued and a Summer Scheme was also undertaken. As a result of this the school was awarded the Birch Award in Oct 25.
