At Ballykelly Primary School and Nursery School Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Pupils are taught about staying safe through our Paths lessons, circle time and assemblies. 
There is a designated safeguarding team and each Senior Leadership Team meeting, Staff Meeting and Governor meeting includes Safeguarding as a standing item on the agenda. 
pupils are frequently reminded who they can talk to if they have a concern.
